Assembly

This a picture of our assembly it is of me, Fergus, Thomas, Jayden and Conrad we are doing a skit about tree climbing we chose tree climbing because we enjoyed it.

Winter sports

Throughout term 2 the senior syndicate has been doing winter sports room12 has been doing volley ball it has been really fun i have enjoyed running around in ball tag and warm ups.

sock monkeys

Once upon a time there was 3 little sock monkeys they lived happily in a house with there mummy then suddenly there came a time when they had to leave they got given stuff from there mummy 1 got  $400,another got a pig and another got a penny.

when they had finished making there houses a Fergus came and said i'll fart and i'll fart and i'll blow your house down so the sock monkey ran out the back door the house got demolished he ran to his bro's house  and knocked on the door.

brother the big bad Fergus nearly got me so can i stay at your house sure bro stay here for a bit then suddenly the big bad Fergus came and said i'll fart and i'll fart i'll blow your house down so the 2 sock monkeys ran  to his other bro's house

and stayed there then the big bad Fergus came and said i'll fart and i'll fart and i'll blow your house down but he farted and farted but it didn't blow down he was there for 70 hours trying so hard then he gave up and the sock monkeys were safe for ever.

Term 2 reflection

This term I learnt a lot more maths strategies and a lot more about space

I enjoyed having Miss Barr

book reveiw Gold of the gods

Gold of the Gods by Bear Grylls


Gold of the gods is an amazing book for adventurous people.

Gold of the gods is about a boy named beck granger and two twins named Christina and Marco beck who is a 12 year old boy with amazing survival skills he can make rafts and kill snakes in a blink of an eye the twins on the other side have been working with beck though the whole book.They are adventuring in the Colombian jungle . There are a lot of exiting parts in this book.
I like this story because of the snake attach because it was breath taking. I dislike nothing because the whole story was exciting.

Beck is a twelve year old boy with amazing survival skills he can make rafts and kill snakes in a blink of an eye. The twins on the other hand are loyal and have been working with beck through the whole book.

My rating for this book is a 6/10. I recomend this book for 8 year olds and older because there are some hard words. So get this book it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In room12 we did netball. our coach was Aroha she taught us alot of netball skills. We learnt how to pass the ball to each other. and we played a game of netball.

2013 reflection

This is a very special post today when you are reading this it’s probably the Christmas holidays this post is about our reflection of 2013! We are now going to talk about our favourite times this year is... 1. Middle syndicate camp (Ashton) 2. Senor syndicate camp (Devin) 3. Fun Day (Devin) 4. learning Algorithms in maths (Ashton) 5. Kitchen chemistry (Devin) 6. Science (Ashton) 7. Maths (Devin) 8. Being in the highest group for everything (Ashton and Devin) The most important thing was helping other people when there sad. (Ashton) The most important thing was always trying to do my best in everything. (Devin) The time that was the most challenging part was spelling. (Ashton) The time that was the most challenging part was making sure I keep up with anything new in math. (Devin)

Forces

We have been learning about forces with my maths group the ovals.
First we did a balloon experiment. We first attached a piece of string to two chairs and then we put a straw on.  Then we taped a balloon to the straw then we blew up the balloon and let go it went down the string. This is because of the air force of the air trying to get out which pushes the balloon.

Reading

This term for reading me Fin and Fergus did a puppet pals of how to train a dragon.

This is our summary of the book.

Maths

Dancing Raisins

I drew our experiment. I chose dancing raisins. The raisins went up and down because of the CO2 bubbles but in water there are no CO2 bubbles.
